Randy
J Munkeby

Chief Munkeby was sworn in as Carrington Police Chief on March 24th, 2003. Carrington Police Department is the only Municipal Law Enforcement in Foster County and serves its citizens with full-time on duty officers. A North Dakota Native, Chief Munkeby attended Valley City High School and Graduated with training in Business/ Mechanical from NDSCS in Wahpeton, N.D. in 1977. In May of 1977 he went into business in Carrington and has been a resident of city since that time. Chief Munkeby began his law enforcement career with the Carrington Police Department in June of 1988. He rose through the ranks to become Chief of Police in March of 2003. He is also a Certified Weapons Instructor as well as an Instructor in General Police Subjects. Chief Munkeby has been an active member of the community as a past president and current board member of the Carrington Youth Center, 4-H Leader, member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of the Carrington Volunteer Fire Department. Randy and his wife Pamela have four children and three grandchildren. |

Sergeant Nathan Kruse is a North Dakota native who grew up and attended school in Carrington. He graduated from the Law Enforcement Training Academy in Bismarck and has been in Law Enforcement since 1999. Sergeant Kruse started out working part-time for the Foster County Sheriff's Office and the Carrington Police Department. In April of 2001, he started full time status with the Carrington Police Department. In February of 2004, he was promoted to Sergeant. He has been an active member of the North Dakota Police Offers Association since 1999. Sergeant Kruse's specialized training consists of; First Responder, Defensive Driving, Sex Offenses, Fingerprinting, Drug Investigations, SD2 Intoxilyzer Training, Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, Radar Certification, LERMS Incident Reporting and Sex Crimes.
Officer Jeremy Klatt grew up in California and moved to North Dakota in 1988. He attended the East Grand Forks Technical College for 1 year before enrolling in the Peace Officer Training Program in Devils Lake. He graduated the Peace Officer training program in December 2003. Officer Klatt joined the Carrington Police Department in December of 2003. His specialized training consists of; Certified First Responder, EVOC, Fingerprinting, Accident Investigation, Drug Enforcement, Field Sobriety/HGN, SD-2 Intoxilyzer certified, Traffic radar certified and Sidearms qualified.  Officer -Myra McCulloch Officer Myra McCulloch grew up with five brothers and two sisters in the Brained, Minnesota area. She lived in the area for 38 years and in Fargo for four years. She has three children. Myra is a graduate of North Dakota State University. She has a Bachelor of Science degree and holds a teaching license in Minnesota and North Dakota. She completed her law enforcement license through Lake Region State College in Fargo, North Dakota. She became employed with the Carrington Police Department in September 2006. Her Specialized training consists of: Certified First Responder, EVOC, Fingerprinting, Accident Investigation, Drug Enforcement, Field Sobriety/HGN, SD-2 Intoxilyzer certified, Lerms Incident Reporting, interviewing, Rational Profiling, Traffic Radar certified and Side Arms qualified.
 Municipal Courtroom Donna Dunn, Municipal Court Judge holds court every Tuesday.
